Half Day City Tour

For those with a limited time scale and have to visit the city then half day is more than enough, it’s highly recommended to visitors upon their arrival. It is a short and pleasant guided tour through Kenya’s Capital City. The tour takes you through the Parliament Buildings which has been effective since Independence in 1963, Kenyatta International Conference the landmark of Nairobi,Parliament buildings, Railway station. After this, a brief tour at the Nairobi National Museum that houses some of the most celebrated collections of history, culture and art from Kenya and East Africa and the Snake Park which displayed cobras, puff adders, mambas and the large African-Rock python (non-poisonous) found only in Kenya.

If you have an entire day to spend in Nairobi,this is a very interesting excursion.Your tour starts with a visit to the Nairobi Safari Walk.It then leads you to the Giraffe Centre- a home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe.Here you will have an opportunity to interact with these graceful creatures as you feed them.From here proceed to the Carnivore Restaurant for your lunch. Afterwards drive to the National museum of Kenya and finally visit the Snake Park.

Nairobi National Park

If you have a few hours to kill before your flight or even if you are just transiting through Nairobi and you have a few hours to spare or can‘t wait to get amongst the big game, then Nairobi National Park is the place to visit, only 6km from the city centre is a visitor’s heaven. Stunning in both its proximity to the bustling streets of the city and a large number of wildlife with over 100 species of mammals including four of the 'big five' - leopard, lion, buffalo and rhino and over 400 species of bird can be found in the park, so its possible to photograph of a giraffe feeding from an acacia tree with the capital city at the background.You can also take a walk in the Safari Walk or even enjoy viewing some rare species and some members of the big five.

Daphne Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage

The orphanage is opened only one hour a day from 1100Hrs to 1200Hrs, 8 Kilometers drive from the city centre and it is set in the Nairobi National Park. The orphanage give you a rare opportunity to come close to baby elephant, the age vary from a few months to 3 years, each orphaned elephant is assigned its own keeper, who acts as a replacement mother and will stay with the elephant until it is re-introduced into the wild. The keeper as well gives a talk about the elephants, where they came from, how they are getting on, and how some of the previous orphans are progressing.

Giraffe Centre

It is a home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe.You will have the opportunity to enjoy feeding the giraffes personally.

Lake Nakuru National Park-One Day

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley stopping to marvel at the views of the escarpment along the way. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park for mid-morning game drive. Proceed for lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp or similar. Another short game drive as you get out of the park and drive back to Nairobi arriving late in the evening.
